Hi, I’m Charlotte and I have been teaching yoga since 2017.
Around the same time that I became a yoga teacher, my father was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. I read books and watched Youtube videos on how yoga could be made more accessible for people dealing with conditions, illnesses, or who cannot get up and down from a mat easily.
This led me to me training for 2 years with the ‘The Yoga Root’ institute in Egham UK to become a Yoga Therapist. I now specialise in running Chair Yoga and Yoga Therapy sessions, sharing the wonderful benefits of yoga with all people.
In October 2019, I joined the Women + Health family as the CAM Project Manager. I’m happy to still be a part of the team as a CAM Practitioner, supporting the Women + Health’s ethos to make low cost therapies available to women.
Particular area of interest: I’m especially interested in using yoga to help people dealing with conditions, illnesses, and injuries. I’m experienced in using Yoga to support women’s health for example conditions such as Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, as well as chronic fatigue, back pain and stress related issues such as anxiety and depression. I have extensive experience using yoga to help people with Parkinson’s Disease.
Qualifications: I am a 200 hour qualified vinyasa flow yoga instructor, graduated from the Frame Yoga Academy in London in 2017. I am training as a Yoga Therapist with ‘The Yoga Root’ institute in Egham UK, and will fully qualify early 2021.
Therapies: Therapy: Yoga Therapy, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Hatha Yoga
I have been practicing acupuncture for over 15 years, specialising in women’s health, including fertility and pregnancy support, mental-emotional issues - sleep disorders, anxiety and stress-relief.
I enjoy working with elderly people and with children - acupuncture and herbs can be of great help to everyone, and I want to spread the word and help as many people as possible.
I am originally from Russia and Ukraine, and I also have strong personal connection with Greece. I have been working and living in London for the last 25 years. I speak Russian and English.

Sound Therapy – “one of the oldest forms of healing known to man”
Sound from therapeutic instruments entrain the brain to move into the Theta brainwave frequencies that can induce deep meditative and peaceful states, clarity of mind and intuition. The sound vibrations can impact our nervous system, engaging our relaxation reflex and inhibiting our stressor pain response.
One-to-one sessions: Therapeutic Bowls are positioned on specific energetic areas of the body to invite the natural healing process of the body to come into place. A course of 6 sessions are usually recommended.
Group class: the therapist intuitively plays therapeutic instruments and can also engage with our voices to tune in to our own frequencies. Through listening to therapeutic instruments, One’s inner dialogue, the inner critic is quietened. Their sounds can help synchronize brain waves and support enhanced awareness of the mind body connection.
Benefits of the therapy:
Relief from stress and anxiety
Improved concentration
Enhanced creativity
Can promote improved vision (Physical, mental, spiritual)
Supports brain hemisphere balancing
Promotes restoration of equilibrium in the endocrine system by vibrating the pituitary.
Relief of sinus congestion and headaches.
Induction of Alpha brainwave activity for deep relaxation
Chakra and aura balancing and cleaning.
Easier access to intuition and higher consciousness
