Pregnancy Yoga

Pregnancy Yoga is an excellent way to prepare for birthing and motherhood. Practising yoga in pregnancy helps to strengthen and stretch muscles, release tension and maintain good posture. It also teaches you to relax on command and keep a positive outlook whilst cleaning the mind of the stresses so often associated with pregnancy and motherhood.

There are many benefits in attending a Pregnancy Yoga class, benefits that are far beyond what you can receive in a regular yoga class. The most obvious benefit is giving yourself and your child time to fully appreciate the journey of pregnancy that mother and child are experiencing together. Two beings can never be as close on so many levels as during pregnancy.

In our classes we teach yoga exercises that help prepare you for birthing and motherhood as well as breathing techniques you can use in any situation. Regular attendance assures that you will consistently practise these exercises for greater benefits and get to meet other expectant mothers and share your journey through pregnancy and motherhood together.

Experienced yoginis or those new to yoga are all welcome to these classes.
